Fostering youth leadership @ Kennesaw State University
The Distinguished SDG Ambassador program fosters youth leadership and gives students the opportunity to assist in the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the University community and beyond.

Through this program, selected students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, learn how to successfully implement the goals in their communities, and create dynamic SDG focused action plans to address the needs of their fellow students, staff, and faculty.

Our thanks to Lola Owokoniran, M.P.H., Karmalize Advisory Board Member and also Director, Community Engagement and Outreach Division of Global Affairs at Kennesaw State University, who let us share a few stories about these fantastic socially responsible businesses in Karmalize:

La Meglio Pizza & Wings feeds the hungry
(#sdg2 #NoHunger),

Who Gives A Crap builds toilets
(#sdg3 #GoodHealthAndWellBeing)

Refuge Coffee Co. provides living wage jobs and mentorship for refugees in Atlanta
(#sdg8 #DecentWorkAndEconomicGrowth)

We featured the owners behind these businesses to show how individual support for them can help the UN Sustainable Development Goals and spread more good karma for everyone!
