Description

Established 1866

White Oak Pastures is a six generation, 152-year-old family farm in Bluffton, Georgia. We take pride in farming practices that focus on regenerative land management, humane animal husbandry, and revitalizing our rural community. We know radically traditional farming creates products that are better for our land, our livestock and our village. We are fiercely proud of our zero-waste production system that utilizes each part of the animals we pasture-raise and hand-butcher on our farm.

Our General Store: A Bold Return to Giving a Damn

After lying empty for more than 50 years, downtown Bluffton’s General Store has gained a new lease on life following a 2016 renovation by White Oak Pastures. Our goal was to preserve the historical integrity of this 175-year-old building while offering Bluffton residents and visitors everything from locally-produced artisan goods to everyday necessity items. The renovation of this historic building in downtown Bluffton is A Bold Return to Giving A Damn. So, join us for a rural revival.

We invite you to visit us at 101 Church Street in downtown Bluffton.

Here you’ll find a thoughtfully curated selection of small-batch products made in Georgia and across the South, including jams, grits, milk, and cheeses. We also stock a wide assortment of pantry items and daily essentials. Last but not least, we offer the widest selection of White Oak Pastures products anywhere — fresh meats and poultry, pet chews, honey, leather and tallow goods, t-shirts, ball caps, and more.

On-Farm Dining

White Oak Pastures is 'home' to 165 employees. Each day, we are grateful to have the option to eat the meats, poultry and produce grown on our farm. We extend an invitation to any visitors to join us in our efforts of Radically Traditional Farming.

After opening our General Store in downtown Bluffton, we realized we needed to be cooking 21 meals on the farm each week. To make this possible, we opened The Farmer's Table located directly behind the General Store (101 Church Street). Tables are in the West wing of the store and we have seating outside as well!
