Diáspora en Houston 🇵🇷
Esperamos cada uno de sus familiares en Puerto Rico se encuentren bien luego del paso del Huracán Fiona.
Medios de comunicación y entidades sin fines de lucro en la ciudad de Houston estan interesados en conocer la real situación en la isla y quisieramos compartir fotos, videos, historias de como vivieron sus familias esta tormenta.
A todas las personas que logramos alcanzar a través de este medio, les pedimos alzar la voz en este momento, unirnos como comunidad y trabajar juntos para que lleguen las ayudas que tanto Puerto Rico va a necesitar luego de este evento catastrófico.
@naccdisasterrelief y PR Food Factory estará colaborando para colectar donaciones que serán enviadas a Puerto Rico.
Las donaciones que podemos enviar son:
– Ropa de niños(as) y adultos
– Kits de higiene personal
– Alimentos no perecederos

We hope each of your relatives in Puerto Rico are doing well after the passage of Hurricane Fiona.
Media and nonprofits in the city of Houston are interested in knowing the real situation on the island and would like to share photos, videos, stories of how their families lived through this storm.
To all the people we managed to reach through this medium, we ask you to raise your voice right now, unite as a community and work together to get the aid that both Puerto Rico will need after this catastrophic event.

This idea was born from a food craving, then mixed with the desire to do a gastronomic project.

Being in Houston, Texas, one of the most diverse cities in the United States, our vision is to bring a space where the Latino diaspora finds traditional Puerto Rican products, cravings and home experience, in one place.

We are on a mission to keep our traditions alive and strive to keep that homesick feeling on the low, while we get the chance to visit our beautiful island, again…
