Pangea was a supercontinent that existed 200 million years ago. It was a time when the continents we know today were combined together to form one large landmass. This theory gave rise to how we believed our company was to be run. A company that respected all people regardless of creed or culture. A company that respected the land we have all inherited, and a company that believes we are better together than apart. These ideas are the foundation on which we stand at Pangea Seeds.

WHO ARE WE

We are fun loving, adventurous gardeners with a love for seeds and all things living (especially our cat Mavis). We have a combined 15 years experience in the horticulture industry. We have travelled extensively in search of new gardening experiences and techniques. From home, here in North America, to our travels throughout East and Western Europe, Africa, and South America we have never stopped being amazed at the different ways in which people adapt to their climate and conditions. We strive to give you responsibly sourced, pesticide free, non-GMO seeds at a reasonable price.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

We started Pangea Seeds in response to the style of seed packaging that is widely used within the industry. Working in the greenhouse industry and being avid gardeners we still always found ourselves with loads of extra seeds after each season. Storage and viability became an issue year after year. The reality is that most gardeners don’t live on acreages, so we decided to offer something at a reduced cost and with a reasonable amount of seeds for the average city garden.
