Our Planting Mission
For those of us at Green Philosophy Co., the natural world is extremely important. We try to give back to Mother Nature where we can, and that’s why we’ve joined forces with Trees for the Future.
More than just trees… Trees for the Future is a nonprofit organization aiming to put an end to hunger and poverty by helping farmers across the world plant trees and regenerate their land. Through our ongoing partnership, we’re planting trees in developing countries and communities for every Green Philosophy Co. product sold.
Changing lives and restoring land… In addition to improving the environment, the trees planted through our partnership provide families with food, income, and education. By helping us support the organization, you’re giving farmers in developing nations a chance to become community leaders and transition from damaging farming techniques to a system that will restore land and change – or even save – lives.
There’s more to do… While our impact is just a drop in the bucket, we believe our partnership with Trees for the Future goes hand-in-hand with our company’s mission of creating positive changes in our relationship with nature and working towards a sustainable future.
Who is Green Philosophy Co.? We’re a woman-owned small business that got its start in an apartment. One day, our founder decided to look for plant-themed novelty décor items. When she couldn’t find anything that fit the bill, she decided to take matters (and a lot of green fabric) into her own hands.
Inspiration bloomed… The succulent-shaped pillow she made eventually served as the inspiration for Green Philosophy Co.’s line of plant-inspired decorative items. Today, the small but mighty team behind Green Philosophy Co. takes pride in our one-of-a-kind designs, quality customer service, and strong knowledge of the natural world.
What is Our Philosophy? Green Philosophy Co.’s name is inspired by our belief that nature-inspired décor can help improve people’s quality of life by boosting their moods and productivity. The natural world can inspire, humble, and empower us, while the color green is traditionally associated with concepts like life, nature, freshness, safety, healing, and harmony.
