Description

Welcome To The FoCo Cafe
FoCo Cafe’s mission is to build community by providing nutritious and delicious meals to the people of Fort Collins regardless of their ability to pay while using mostly local, organic, and sustainably grown ingredients.

We are a cafe & non-profit of shared responsibility that offers healthy and delicious meals to all people on a donation basis. We are building community one plate at a time. If you can give more, please pay it forward. If you have a little less, pay what you can.

Offering a hand up, not a hand out

We are open for Lunch from 11am-2pm Monday – Saturday. Indoor dining, Outdoor Seating, and Carry-Out Meals are all available and delivery is available through NoCo Nosh. We serve Soups, Salads, and Sandwiches on a pay what you can basis using mostly local, organic, and sustainably grown ingredients. Vegan and GF options are always available. If you cannot cover the cost of the food, we ask that you volunteer in exchange for your meal. If you are able to pay it forward, you help cover the cost of a meal for someone in need. We can't wait to see you for lunch!

Jeff & Kathleen Baumgardner, Co-Founders
Jeff and Kathleen Baumgardner founded the Cafe and incorporated in Colorado as a non-profit in June 2012. Kathleen served as the Volunteer Executive Director from concept until she was hired by the Board four years later, in April 2016. She managed the administrative side of the operation, managed interns, performed public speaking, and executed FoCo Cafe communications. Jeff served as the Volunteer Chef and Operations Manager since the grand opening, Thanksgiving 2014. Jeff has created and served tens of thousands of meals to the community! He has a heart for health equity, a talent for making incredible soups, and a gift for serving people.
