Our Story

Meet the Fil N’ Viet couple, Kevin & Rosie. Kevin has been a Chef for 11 years with a Vietnamese background. He’s worked at Michelin Star restaurants and travelled around Asia with the passion of discovering other cuisines and learning other cultures. During his time here in Austin, he met Rosie.

Rosie is from the Philippines and she had

the opportunity to work in America (that’s when they met and got married YAAAAY!). During her stay her she felt homesick and started to cook dishes that brought her closer to home. She used a lot of her mom’s recipes and read a lot of cookbooks.

Both were curious about each other’s cuisines and started to learn from each other. They saw a lot of similarities and BOOOM Fil N’ Viet was born.
