Description

Mar 14:

As the ongoing crisis in #Ukraine continues, we know we need to find a way to help those in urgent need 💙💛 At Nervosa, food has always been a way for us to express love and connection. Therefore, from March 14th-April 14th, @nervosato will be donating $1 from each MAFALADE AI FUNGHI sold to World Central Kitchen. @wckitchen is providing fresh & nourishing meals to Ukrainian families fleeing home as well as those who remain in the country.

As always, thank you for dining with us and helping us support important causes both locally and beyond. @nervosato stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people during this humanitarian crisis.

OUR STORY
Cafe Nervosa opened its doors at the corner of Yorkville and Bellair in 1996. Later renamed Trattoria Nervosa, this little yellow house continues to thrive as a neighbourhood meeting place, attracting both familiar and new faces every day.

We put as much care and consideration into our food and drink as we do into creating memorable experiences for our customers. Our customers are our extended family. And like family, we invite you to sit at our table and enjoy home-cooked Southern Italian food prepared with pride and love.

GUSTO GIVES BACK
Gusto Gives Back is our commitment to making a difference in the world and communities where we operate. Our primary charitable focus are causes that feed and teach people, especially children, how to eat in a healthy and sustainable way. With that in mind we partner with charitable organizations and initiatives that advocate healthy eating and have a mission to eliminate hunger and poverty.

FOODSHARE
1 in 8 Toronto households face food insecurity – that’s hundreds of thousands too many people. In 2019, Gusto 54 has partnered with FoodShare to join the fight against food insecurity through a shared vision of providing “Good Healthy Food for All”. On Monday’s, $1 from select items at each of our restaurants are donated to FoodShare in support of programs that feed and teach people in the Toronto community how to eat in healthy and sustainable ways.

THE STOP COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRE
Since 2013, Gusto 54 has supported The Stop’s critical anti-hunger and anti-poverty programs by participating in their annual “Night Market” and “What’s on the Table” events. These annual fundraising events feature a captivating mash-up of the best of Toronto’s food, art and music scenes, and have played an integral role in driving their goal to create stronger, healthier communities from coast to coast. We are a proud sponsor and supporter of The Stop’s mission.

GUSTO 54 MINI CHEFS
As a collection of community-minded food-lovers, we’re passionate about enriching people with the capacity to eat in healthy and sustainable ways. Mini Chefs represents our commitment to giving back to our community by fostering health literacy and food equality while cultivating foundational culinary skills in a fun, interactive and educational environment. We hope that you’ll share in our vision to inspire and empower healthy habits, choices and lifestyles.
