Luke Schneider is a retired firefighter/paramedic and U.S. Navy veteran, whose nonprofit Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation helps “firefighters and first responders who are injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges".
Brothers Eli Held, an active firefighter and Max Held, a police officer created their Duty to Act Foundation, which donates 10% of profits to support first responders in need and those affected by line of duty deaths.
Brian Burik, a retired FDNY Lieutenant and his wife Lindsey Burik’s coffee is made in Hawai’i with aloha, showing love and respect to the land. They work with small family farms, use recyclable coffee bags, and donate their byproduct coffee grounds and chaff to the Mauka Mushrooms organic farm to help build healthy soil!
Danny Sanchez and Kurt Scheufens, coffee roasters and fire fighters, continue to serve every day with the Birmingham Fire Department.
Paul Clarke is a Dallas Firefighter and Paramedic, a former Officer in the Marine Corps Reserves, and an Iraq Veteran. Kyle Lund is a Lieutenant for Dallas Fire and Rescue stationed at the swift water station, an Army Veteran, and served two tours in Iraq as an Infantry Squad leader in 2007-2008 and again in 2009-2010. Together their Caffeinate -A- Station program has donated over 1000 lbs of coffee to first responders throughout North Texas!
