Meet The Owners Of This Wonderful Coffeehouse In Pawtucket That We Adore
My name is Yesenia Rubio, aka “Yess,” and my wife’s name is also YESENIA Figueroa, aka “Figs.”
“Yess” — I’m a singer, songwriter, and marketing professional, who just recently mustard up the courage to leave my corporate marketing job to fully immerse myself in a dream I envisioned more than 10 years ago. I remember always searching for a local coffee shop or a space to find inspiration and meet new folks, and of course enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Something about a coffee shops atmosphere, the music, the people, conversations, coffee and the way you could fully get lost in it just felt good to the soul.
Fast forward, years later I felt a strong desire to merge my passions for music, coffee, food, and community, and in the midst of a pandemic, with the support of my wife, Notes Coffee Co. was born.
“Figs” — I’m an army veteran, human resources & organizational development professional, who recently retired from active duty, after 12 years of service, to share a dream which I believe has the potential to grow and touch many communities across the state. Notes has given us the opportunity to share our passions and with time, I wish to incorporate my love for craft beer, wine and spirits as another element.
A few local food spots we enjoy: The Rhody Hen, Avenue N, The District, Casa Azul, KIN, Den Den, Little Sister, Cafe Colombia, and Rasoi.

Notes Coffee Co. is a safe space for Community, Creativity, Conversation and delicious Coffee and Bites.
As we work through this uncertain time, we look forward to rolling out new food and beverage offerings, a liquor menu, hosting events, and partnering up with locals to bring the best we can to our communities.
