Description
Welcome to #MayfairWorld!
We’re here to build your internet happy place through purposeful merch, feel-good content, and an empowering digital community. We want to change the narrative around unrealistic societal standards, and celebrate the unfiltered human experience that connects us all. In our world-vulnerability is universal, empathy is critical, and authenticity is your superpower. It’s not just merch, it’s a movement.
This mindset has been in our DNA since day one. Our CEO, Sam Abrahart, launched The Mayfair Group in 2017. After years of struggling with her mental health, she sought to create a more meaningful life through uplifting content and a digital safe space. We’re now focused on building out Mayfair as a global lifestyle brand in hopes to continue inspiring connectivity- something we all need more of.
Everyone’s welcome in #MayfairWorld. Consider us your internet hype team, serving mood-boosting merch and treating humans like humans since forever. Our mission is to not just to make you look good, but help you FEEL good. Join the movement. The future is all of ours to build.
ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL IMPACT
We hold ourselves to a high standard of ethics and accountability in all that we do. Read on for our commitment to sustainability and charitable causes.
SUSTAINABILITY
LOCAL SOURCING
One of our guiding principles as a company is a commitment to innovating and investing in long-term, sustainable manufacturing practices. Many of our garments are made in Los Angeles, which helps support small and localized businesses. If we can’t find it here, we align with a supplier who meets our quality standards.
FABRICS
75% of our entire product assortment uses 100% cotton, and we’re aiming to be at 100% as soon as possible. Cotton is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable, and remains an environmentally friendly fiber throughout its entire product life cycle. We invest heavily in vintage pieces and deadstock fabrics sourced locally in Los Angeles. Our Archive collection includes vintage pieces that are either 100% unaltered or carefully retooled with minimal adjustments. This up-cycling (also known as creative re-use) helps us reduce waste by giving an existing garment new life. Deadstock fabrics are unused materials from other fashion manufacturers that would otherwise go to a landfill. We reimagine and repurpose these perfectly good leftovers into beloved Mayfair styles.
PACKAGING
All of our products are packaged in 50% post-consumer recycled poly packaging. Our packing material is 100% recyclable, which helps reduce the volume of materials that goes to a landfill.
