As two local firefighters, we quickly learned that a 24 hour shift at the fire department requires a good sense of humor…and a substantial amount of coffee.
We started roasting coffee to enjoy with our crew at the firehouse, and that's where Los Bomberos Café was born.
After countless hours of roasting and taste testing, the Hot Shot roast was perfected. This roast honors the front line firefighters known as “Hot Shots" who heroically put their lives on the line to fight active wild fires across the United States.
The Old Head roast honors the legends of the fire service who have passed down years of knowledge and experience to future generations of firefighters. Cheers to the old heads!
