We strive to create a sense of community, a place to be known, to gather, to celebrate and to feel at home. We hope our eclectic, balanced, and lovingly-crafted beer will bring people together to share in this wild adventure of living, and living well.

KELISSA HIEBER
Owner, Brewer, Janitor
Kelissa moved to Colorado for her love of beer and snowboarding! She’s a graduate of the Regis Brewing program and now co-teaches the “Hot Side of Brewing” course in the program. Her first brewing job was the cellarman at Denver’s TRVE Brewing Company, and she’s been with Goldspot almost from the start.

Favorite beer: depends on the day

OUR BEER
Our goal is to provide balanced and interesting beers that entice and inspire. We love using unique ingredients, such as Guanabana or Sudachi lime, but also savor a well crafted kolsch or lager. Every time you come to the Spot, there is always something new and unique/fun to taste. We tap a new beer every week or two, but there are always our classic favorites available. At Goldspot, everyone can find a beer to enjoy. We love exploring all that the craft beer world has to offer!

DRINK TOGETHER
We are proud of our involvement and commitment to our Berkeley neighborhood and the greater Denver community. We strive to support as many organizations as we can by always offering a rotating charity-focused beer on tap. Goldspot also is a driving force in the Makin’ Noise charitable campaigns.

Black is Beautiful: A collaborative effort to raise awareness for the injustices people of color face daily and raise funds for police brutality, reform and legal defenses for those who have been wronged.

One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families.

Groundwork Denver: We partner with lower-income communities to improve the physical environment and promote health and well-being. We plant trees, we improve parks, we clean up rivers and the air, we insulate houses, we promote biking, we grow food.

Girls Rock Denver: We empower girls and gender expansive youth through music education, creation, performance and community, working to put instruments in their hands to unveil what they already possess in their feet, fingertips, vocal cords, hearts and minds.

CIRC is a statewide membership-based coalition of immigrant, labor, interfaith, youth and ally organizations founded in 2002 to build a unified statewide voice to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees in Colorado and the United States.

POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change.

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, through direct service and advocacy.

Project Worthmore: To provide programs that foster community, self-sufficiency and increase quality of life among Denver-area refugees.

Rainforest Trust is a US-based nonprofit environmental organization focused on the purchase and protection of tropical lands to strategically conserve threatened species.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless: The Mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado.

Frontline Farming: The mission of Frontline Farming is to create greater equity across our food system on the Front Range of Colorado. We specifically seek to support and create greater leadership and access for women and people of color in our food systems.
