Born in Michigan, Matt has lived in Alaska since 2011, and has spent every season hiking, snowshoeing and fishing with wife, Brandi, and daughter, Norah.
Matt’s motivation for starting Go Hike Alaska is to showcase the world-class hiking opportunities that exist right outside of Anchorage.
He is dedicated to educating hikers, making them feel more confident and ready to continue their own hiking adventures.
Having years of experience guiding guests in Alaska’s wilderness, he’s even more prepared to serve you an adventure of a lifetime.
