Chris, a BBQ enthusiast and law enforcement raised IT professional and grill master, teamed up with his friend Mike, a 15 year law enforcement veteran. In 2010 they joined forces to create a backyard BBQ competition team. Located just outside of the St. Louis metropolitan area, they soon realized that their style of spices they designed and utilized were well received in the BBQ community. The team has grown into a force on the pro BBQ circuit and their products continue to receive awards in competition circuits across America that have totaled an excess of 100 plus.

Chris and Mike developed 3 highly satisfying, award winning, professional based seasonings to make the perfect BBQ! After teaming up with a local manufacturer to replicate their award winning specialty spice blends, Chris and Mike are now able to introduce to you the perfect products through their Rescue Rub, 5-O Rub and Backdraft Rub. Not only will you love the outcome of your BBQ and various other foods, but you will find it as an everyday staple in your spice rack.

Chris and Mike didn’t create this company solely to bring you the best blends. They also share a great passion and personal conviction in giving back to the men and women who serve as first responders and in military services. Chris and Mike have witnessed first hand the rigors of what first responders are faced with on a daily basis. They have seen firsthand what first responders and the military contribute to all of us and decided they needed to give back through their own passion. Code 3 Spices donates $0.25 cents of each bottle sold to organizations that support Police, Fire, Medical and Military Personnel. This will allow those organizations to provide financial support to injured or fallen personnel and their families.

Code 3 Spices products were voted as the #1 BBQ gift in America in 2014, voted #1 spice blends by Feast Magazine and was selected as the best gift in America that gives back by Parade Magazine in December of 2015. Code 3 Spices has experienced phenomenal growth due to the quality of their products and mission in giving back to those who serve and plans to have a record year of growth in 2017 -2018 adding an additional 1000-3000 plus stores.

US Veterans Foundation
Through Code 3 Spices donations to the US Veterans Foundation, it directly supports the Veteran’s adaption back into civilian life. By engaging in strength based, unconventional, three-day seminar Veterans and their families achieve self-reliance and coping skills through recreational therapy techniques, peer support, and future focused reintegration courses.

The Wounded Blue
The Wounded Blue is the only National organization dedicated to assisting wounded officers injured in the line of duty. Through its Code 4 Wellness Program, Wounded Blue provides:

Peer-to-Peer PTSD counseling
Medical support for doctor’s office visits

Got Your Six Support Dogs

Got Your Six Support Dogs supports veterans and first-responders who have risked their lives to serve our country. To help those who struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as sexual trauma, Got Your Six Support Dogs’ goal is to place trained PTSD service dogs with veterans and first-responders at no cost to help them heal from the psychological stress of war and duty through the compassion and healing power of their loyal 4-legged companions.
