ABOUT

My name is Caprice-Kwai, I’m a 22 year old model, blogger, jewellery/accessory designer, and a multi award-winning business owner from London.

I was crowned Young Trader of the Year 2023 for London & the South East Region at the Young Traders Market, hosted by the National Market Traders Federation.

I have lived with a disability since the age of 10, which has shaped who I am today. I have problems relating to my legs, mainly with my left leg where I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis, Joint Hyper-mobility and Chronic Pain Syndrome.

All of my conditions leave me feeling fatigued and cause a lot of pain so I have been using mobility aids for 11 years to mobilise, however my disability and difficulties do not define me – I have dreams, goals and aspirations so with this platform, I hope to inspire and share my experiences.

Growing up in a society where disabilities and mobility aids aren’t seen often within the fashion industry, I wanted to challenge the status quo and became a model to show the world that everyBODY is beautiful.

I’ve had the opportunity to be at the forefront of the Inclusion Revolution since I started my modelling journey in 2019. I’ve been fortunate enough to walk in London Fashion Week and work on several BBC shows.

I've worked for the likes of Kurt Geiger, Dr. Martens, Getty Images, ASOS and many more. In 2022, I was published in Cosmopolitan Magazine, sharing my journey to self-acceptance, as well as being a GLAMOUR UK cover star for their self-love January 2023 issue.
